38 Guilt-Free Healthy Sweet Snacks

There are a lot of ways to get a sweet treat. We bake cookies and cakes, we go to the grocery store and pick up a pint of ice cream, we even go visit a local restaurant and order dessert.

In order to make a recipe, you have to have the right ingredients. For this recipe, we need dates and almonds. At the grocery store, I was able to find both of these ingredients by going through the bulk bin. After seeing the elements, I realized that I needed vegan chocolate chips to make some truffles with an excellent product consistency.

Ingredients:

2 cups almonds

3/4 cup dates, pitted and chopped

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/4 cup raw cacao (or one tablespoon cocoa powder)

Three tablespoons coconut oil Melt cacao in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in coconut oil and continue stirring until smooth. If the mixture becomes too thick, add more water or date liquid as needed. Drizzle onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or plastic wrap to thin out the chocolate coating slightly if required. Place back on a cooling rack until it is set.

Ingredients:

Three tablespoons almond butter or other nut butter of choice (cashew, walnut, etc.)

Two tablespoons maple syrup

One tablespoon coconut oil

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/3 cup rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)

1/4 cup nut or seed butter (cashew, sunflower seed butter, etc.

Protein shakes are a great way to supplement your diet with added protein. Protein powders are the most common form of protein solution. When you put them in a shake, they create an easy and tasty way to get the protein your body needs.

This is all done without dealing with any of the issues that come with animal products like dairy or eggs, namely fat and cholesterol. To make this quick shake, combine 1 cup almond milk (any non-dairy milk will work), 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds (they act as a natural thickener), and ice cubes for desired consistency (you'll want it thicker like pudding). Let it soak for about 20 minutes or refrigerate for about an hour for the most effective results.

This recipe can serve up to 2-3 people.

This recipe is perfect for those who want a little sweet and crunchy in their afternoon. This recipe has all the great pumpkin spice flavors, including pumpkin puree, white sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. These spices are mixed with dark chocolate and then topped with toasted pumpkin seeds that give this mixture a nice crunch and extra nutrients like iron and zinc, which will keep you going through the day. This quick dessert can be made in about 15-20 minutes and is perfect for those who need something warm to comfort them after a long day at work or school."
